The Adventures of Whizardy Witch
by David G. Sheppard
Story 15.
Whizardy Witch and The Empty Satchel (Age 3-4) Whizardy Witch is the fastest witch in the Land of Magic. “Zoomedy zoom, let’s go broom,” she squeals. One day, Whizardy heard mum shout, “Pixies, we have Pixies!” Whiz rushed to help. The little Pixies raced around the kitchen breaking everything. “Look out Whiz!” mum warned. Two pixies tried to steal Whiz’s hat. “Broomsticks come and help!” Whiz screamed. The Pixies were too fast for the two magic brooms. “They have stolen my magic leaves!” Whiz cried. The Pixies ran away, laughing. “Where did those Pixies come from, Mum?” Whiz asked. “From the Land of Mischief,” answered mum. The Kitchen looked a terrible mess. “The naughty Pixies have broken our things,” said Whiz sadly. Mum looked sad. Whiz wanted to help clean up. “I can’t use a spell; they have taken my magic leaves,” said Whiz. Mum smiled and waved her magic wand. A flash of bright yellow stars fizzed around the room clearing up all the mess. Whiz grinned, “That is a good Tidy-Up spell mum.” Whiz still needed to collect magic leaves for her satchel. They called their broomsticks and whizzed out of the door heading for the Tree of Spells. *** And that is the story of Whizardy Witch and the Empty Satchel.
